Project

The Corso Residence

Perched above the dramatic coastline of Mahon Pool, The Corso began as a modest 1940s semi on just 305 square metres of land. What emerged was an entirely reimagined family home: a contemporary four-bedroom residence with a double garage, designed to embrace its extraordinary oceanfront setting.

Working closely with Molnar Architects, we managed and delivered the project from demolition through to final handover. Every square metre was carefully considered, balancing architectural ambition with practical family living and a disciplined budget. The result was a home distinguished by bespoke detailing, thoughtful craftsmanship and a seamless connection to its coastal surroundings.

Completed within twelve months of demolition, the project quickly became a benchmark for the area. Upon sale, the home achieved $2.1 million, a record price for the suburb at the time and a reflection of both its design quality and exceptional execution. Perhaps the greatest compliment came from next door. So impressed by the transformation, the owners of the adjoining semi chose to undertake their own redevelopment using mirrored plans, creating a striking architectural pairing along The Corso. Today, the home stands as an example of how vision, craftsmanship and collaboration can completely transform a modest footprint into something truly exceptional.
